Walk in the footsteps of Godefroid of Bouillon and visit his castle, one of the oldest medieval ruins in Belgium.
The town of Bouillon is also located along the Semois river and the famous castle that sits high atop a ridge, overlooking the town as well as the river. The construction of the castle goes as far back as the 10th century and was radically rebuilt only in the 18th century. It is by many considered to be one of the most astonishing medieval castles of Belgium. Every year, a Medieval festival is held at the castle, too.
